So. It's November. Time for National Novel Writing Month! 50,000 words (or more) in 30 days, woo! \o/

With five attempts and two successes already under my belt (if, you know, I wore belts), this year I'm playing the Zokutou card and going back to the story I tried to write for my first attempt, Oddity Hall. I failed miserably, in that I gave up in the first week with less than 5K written, but since then, the story has gained important things like plot, and characterization, and... a civil rights/equality theme? Not what I would have expected for a novel about magic-wielding college students and the rogue geneticists eager to get his hands on them, but okay. O.o

I've got 20K written so far, which puts me a day ahead of schedule, and way ahead of that pathetic first year. But I'm planning to write this until it's done, with a [i]good[/i] ending (whatever that ending may be), so I can't get complacent. Must Keep Writing!

Also, I am going to get written up by my IE for abuse of the ellipsis, as well as, "actually", "really", and other such filler words. But since the IE's are boxed up for the month, who cares? >.>
